They rely on doctrines, not Christ. Members want to be spoon fed. Or there are members that are not truly saved. That is a scary thing. What would happen if churches had the true fear of God in their souls. I am reminded of the time when Moses when up in the mount and there was thunder/lighting; no one was able to touch the mount, or die. -true fear. Or the priest when they went into the Holy of Holies. If he did not come out (Gd took his like), there was something wrong before the Lord in his live. We need more godly fear in our churches. Our country would also be different. Our desire as churches is to glorify God and to work in His fields for the great harvest is upon us. We will soon see Christ's shining face in the clouds. But there are not enough to harvests the souls and even now Christ is preparing to coming. (Maybe we DO have enough churches but no workers). Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
